I decided to do A Day At School because I was working as a sub in between jobs during covid and I learned so much about kids. What their day is like and how they are taught. The lessons and the teaching methods are so different from when I was growing up. I found it so interesting. Especially how they would talk about their feelings at the start of the day. I wanted to somehow incorporate what I learned into this fabric collection.

I’m Buggin’ Out is like taking a backyard safari in the world of insects and creepy crawlies. The adventure of encountering a variety of giant beetles, fire flies, spiders, worms and a praying mantis in the dense “jungles” of the grass and undergrowth are reminiscent of the movie, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids.
